Create your own Drinks Can Heart with colourful and interesting recycled metal drinks cans in our art studio, in Stafford.

The metal hearts make unique interior decorations, and can also be given as thoughtful handmade gifts .

Ideal for a 10th anniversary (Tin), a Valentine’s gift, or even a thoughtful Mother’s day gift, these exclusive creations are made from recycled drinks can metal, particle board and leather edging.

Each heart is made with a hanging point for display on a wall or door.

The workshop experience, is an inspiring and immersive environment suitable for all levels. Our excellent tuition will provide a fun, informative and productive experience. We have a huge selection of coloured aluminium drinks cans, all with a variety of sophisticated graphic imagery to choose from and work with.

You will learn how to embellish the metal using embossing, punching and sanding techniques and then attach to metal to a blank wooden shape. Completion of each heart is with a leather edge.

This workshop is 2 hours long.

Suitable for ages 12 to adult.

Participants may also bring their own recycled drinks cans to make their creation even more personal.

Parking
There is no parking at Woodings Yard but all-day parking is available near our premises at The Waterfront carpark, Stafford. This is a 7 min walk away.

The Tescoes Extra supermarket is also only a 5-minute walk away and offers 3 hours of free parking.

Please be aware we will be using sand paper, so it is advised not to have a fresh manicure just before the workshop!

HEALTH & SAFETY:

Please do not wear open-toe shoes. Sharp tools may be used throughout the workshop. Health and safety information will be provided prior to the session.
