Lino printing workshop

£30.00

In this hands-on Lino Printing Workshop, we will guide you step by step through the process of designing, transferring your design onto a lino block, and carving your very own printing plate. You'll also learn how to print your design to create a beautiful series of artworks.

This workshop is perfect for both beginners and those with more experience.

What you'll do:

  • Design a print suitable for A6 or a 9cm square format.

  • Use traditional cutting tools to create textures and marks on your lino plate.

  • Learn how to ink up and print your design in one color.

  • Experiment with different printing surfaces to explore creative possibilities.

  • Take home your lino plate to continue printing your design at home.

Join us for a fun, creative experience where you'll leave with your own unique prints and the skills to keep making art!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

This class is suitable for 14yrs -adult and is approx. 2 hours long.

Please wear clothing suitable for an art class as it can get messy!

The cost is £30 per session including all materials.

All Art sessions need to be booked in advance and payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Parking is not available at Woodings Yard Studios as it is a pedestrian zone, but there is free 3 hour parking available at the nearby Tescoes.

If disability parking is required please contact us. Limited parking available on site - subject to strict availability on the day. Ownership and display of a valid blue badge is essential to qualify.
