This workshop is a great opportunity to start or continue to develop you sketchbook or journal. 

The emphasis will be on exploring and creating personal pages with opportunity to develop ideas and reflect on your own journey and interests.

different themes to help you get started will include:

1. Colour, collage, and composition
2. Mark making and texture
3. Fonts and text.

All materials will be supplied, but we recommend you bring your own sketchbook, magazines samples, images, photocopies and materials to make your work more personal. Sketchbooks and other art materials will be available to purchase to take away so you can continue what you have started.

Beginners and competent artists are very welcome and excellent tuition in an inspiring and immersive environment will provide a fun and productive experience.

SATURDAY ALL DAY WORKSHOP

This Saturday workshop gives you the time and resources to really get stuck in and play with different materials and techniques.

You will be shown how to make a small stand alone book, with different binding options or you may continue working in your own sketchbook.

Not only will you create some fabulous personal pages but you will leave fulfilled with this special creative time just for you.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 

There is no parking at Woodings Yard but all-day parking is available near our premises. 

Tescoes supermarket is only a 5-minute walk away and offers 3 hours of free parking (for the shorter workshop option). The ‘Waterfront’ carpark is 7 mins walk away.
