Spend a relaxing couple of hours drawing from a stimulating and colourful still life display using oil pastels or pencils.

You will be shown how to use all the elements of drawing from composition, to colour blending , to enable you to grasp the fundamentals of drawing a still life and have fun creating your own version.

There will be no pressure to perform, the activity and creativity will be the focus rather than the outcome.

Whether you are a competent draughtsman, or have never picked up an oil pastel, you will be comfortable in the knowledge that you will be in safe hands with great tuition!

Materials are provided and no experience is necessary.

A still life display will be set up in the Proteanart studio, but if the weather and light is good we will work outside.

This workshop is 2 hours long.

Suitable for ages 12 to adult.

Parking
There is no parking at Woodings Yard but all-day parking is available near our premises at The Waterfront carpark, Stafford. This is a 7 min walk away.

The Tescoes Extra supermarket is also only a 5-minute walk away and offers 3 hours of free parking.

Please be aware we will be using sand paper, so it is advised not to have a fresh manicure just before the workshop!

HEALTH & SAFETY:

Please do not wear open-toe shoes. Sharp tools may be used throughout the workshop. Health and safety information will be provided prior to the session.
